Origin Story

Aureum AI was born when two strategists met in Tuscany and saw the same gap — founders trapped as the bottleneck of their own brilliance.

How It Started

Aureum AI was born when Maria-Ines Fuenmayor and Gemma Went met at a retreat in Tuscany. Immediate connection — one of those moments where you recognise someone who thinks about the world the way you do but brings a completely different lens to it.

Maria-Ines brought creative systems strategy — Master's (Hons) in International Development & International Law, humanitarian infrastructure across four continents, 30 years visual strategy, early AI integration. Gemma brought psychology-based strategy — BA (Hons) Psychology, the intersection of leadership identity, trust, and sustainable scale.

Together they saw the gap: founders with deep expertise trapped as the bottleneck of their own businesses. Not because they lacked tools, but because no one had built a way to extract their intelligence and make it executable.

The Answer

Aureum was the answer — a studio that builds AI systems trained on founders' proprietary methodologies, so their genius scales without diluting.

The name Aureum comes from gold — the idea that what founders have built is precious, and the work is to refine and amplify it, not replace it.

Case Study Zero

Aureum is Case Study #1 — built using its own CITC (Codified In The City) methodology. The studio's own operations, voice, content, and delivery systems were codified first, proving the methodology works before offering it to clients.
