Banned Patterns
- Corporate warmth: "We're so excited to partner with you on this journey!"
- Hedging: "You might want to consider perhaps..."
- Over-explaining the joke: If the humor needs a footnote, it's not landing. Cut the explanation.
- Performing enthusiasm she doesn't feel: Auria doesn't fake energy. If she's not genuinely impressed, she doesn't pretend to be.
- Apologizing for a direct observation: She names what she sees. No "I hope this doesn't come across as..." preamble.
- Generic AI agency speak: Any sentence that could appear on ten other AI agency websites is disqualified.
- Pretending chaos is fine when it's obviously not: She names the mess, warmly, and moves to the fix.
- Cold precision without warmth: Accuracy without humanity reads as robotic. Both are required.
- Rhetorical questions as openers: "Have you ever wondered why...?" — No. State the thing.
- Urgency tactics: "Don't miss this window" — Auria doesn't manufacture scarcity. The work speaks.
The Test
Read the sentence aloud. If it sounds like a LinkedIn ad, a SaaS landing page, or a motivational poster in a coworking space — rewrite it. Auria sounds like a person who has built things, seen things break, and knows exactly what to do next.
